The 4th NorCal Pirate Festival was held in Vallejo, California, the US, from June 19 to 20 and attracted nearly 2,300 "pirates," the Daily Mail of London reported. Clad in costumes, they hoped to set a world record for the most people dressed as pirates in one place. The current titleholder is England's Brixham, where a gathering of 1,722 "pirates" was recorded.
