Winter Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn has finally found out what role she will play on her favorite television show, the crime series "Law & Order."
NBC on Wednesday said the U.S. skier will play an office assistant named Alicia in the season finale of the program.
Vonn's scene will be shot in the Brooklyn area of New York on April 9, and her character will provide a clue in a case involving a terrorist, the network said. The episode will air on May 24.
At the Vancouver Winter Olympics in February, Vonn became the first American woman to win the gold medal in downhill skiing.
Vonn, 25, calls "Law & Order" her favorite show, and she said in a statement on Wednesday that she "couldn't be more excited" with her guest starring part.
NBC, which had the U.S. broadcasting rights to the Vancouver Winter Olympics, told Vonn last month that they would find a part for her on the crime show but her role was not decided at the time.
"Law & Order", in its 20th season, is one of the longest-running series on U.S. television.
