Chongqing gays to mark World AIDS Day

Gays in Chongqing Municipality are to gather at a bar in Yuzhong District on Thursday December 1 World AIDS Day to say no to the highly infectious disease among the high-risk groups.

More than 100 gays are expected to attend the event, as part of the city's campaign to control the further spread of AIDS.

Complimentary condoms and medical checks for the AIDS infection will be made available on the day. Similar efforts will also be made in colleges, migrant worker haunts and places where drug use is common.
