Stressed teachers struggle to find voice

Nearly one in three teachers in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region are suffering from vocal problems.
An investigation conducted by Hong Kong University Education Faculty into graduates between 1998 and 2004 found that 30 per cent developed hoarseness and other vocal problems. The problems become more serious over time.
Nearly half of the affected teachers say it impacts upon their work performance.
