Updated: 2005-04-05 10:17

Migrant workers in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, are expected to be given a place to worship their late relatives, the Information Times reports.

The funeral and burial service centre in Guangzhou is poised to build a space to hold 2,000 memorial stands for late relatives of migrant workers each Tomb Sweeping Day in April.

The price for each memorial stand is only 20 to 30 yuan (US$2.40-3.60). It can also serve local residents who have no ashes of their departed relatives.
