China, Slovakia sign agreements

BRATISLAVA -- China and Slovakia on Wednesday signed agreements on investment protection and communications cooperation.

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and his Slovak counterpart, Mikulas Dzurinda, witnessed the signing ceremony.

The two documents are an additional protocol to an agreement on the encouragement and mutual protection of investment, and an agreement between China's Information Industry Ministry and Slovakia's Ministry of Transport, Post and Telecommunications in communications cooperation.

The documents were signed after talks between the two leaders.
