BEIJING (AP) - Nenad Djordjevic scored with a sharp header one minute into the second-half of a friendly match with China on Sunday, energizing a lackluster game and giving Serbia-Montenegro the first goal of its 2-0 victory.

China's coach Zhu Guanghu made several changes during the game at the Nanjing Olympic Sports Center - but none panned out.
Sun Jihai, who plays for Manchester City, made some surging runs down the right to threaten the opponent's backline and Munich 1860's Shao Jiayi was close with a free kick that hit the side net on 68 minutes.
In the end, the more experienced Serbia-Montenegro prevailed, with substitute Nikola Zigic finding the net with a small-angle header.
"I'm happy with this victory as it's the first one of our Asian tour," Serbia-Montenegro coach Ilija Petkovic was quoted as saying by the official Xinhua News Agency. "But the bad weather and the wet pitch have affected both sides' performance."
Zhu said his team learned a lot from their opponents.
