BEIJING, September 18 (Xinhua) -- World number two Rafael Nadal overcame a sluggish start to beat the second seed Guillermo Coria in full sets here on Sunday to win the China Open ATP tennis tournament.
The matches between the 1-2 seeded players went on a way favoring the top-seeded Nadal after he came back from one set down and wrapped up the men's singles final at the 500,000 US dollars hardcourt tournament 5-7, 6-1, 6-2 in two hours.

 | It's the 19-year-old Spaniard's 10th title of the year and 11th of his career in singles, and the third time in this season that Nadal has won over the 23-year-old Coria, who was ranked eighth in the world currently. The last match where Nadal lost to the Argentine was at the Monte Carlo clay-court tournament in 2003 when Nadal was ousted with a 7-6, 6-2 defeat. Trailing 6-5 in the first set of Sunday's final after being broken twice, Nadal failed to save a set point as he backhanded the ball out of the bound after getting the bounce back in his stride in time with unbelievable fast paces.
