The New Yorker photo shows that two hooded and naked Iraqi prisoners made to simulate oral sex, and other Iraqi prisoners were forced to masturbate in the notorious Abu Ghraib prison outside Baghdad. The abuse of Iraqi prisoners by U.S. troops went beyond the photos seen by most Americans, shaken lawmakers said May 12, 2004 after viewing fresh pictures and video that they said depicted forced sex, brutality and dogs snarling at cowed prisoners.
