Foreigners in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang Province, will hear their own languages when calling the police, reports Qianjiang Evening News.

A team of 40 interpreters specializing in some 10 languages were gathered by Hangzhou Police last Thursday.

The youngest one in the team is 21, while the oldest is 61.

An officer from Hangzhou Police said they had difficulty when dealing with calls from foreigners, especially in languages other than English and French.
