Egg-delivering cock bewilders experts

Local experts have been confounded by a cock which laid an egg in a villager's home in the suburbs of Beijing, reports Beijing Star Daily.

An object suddenly emerged from the cock in the henhouse, as the villager was cleaning it out last month.

Picking it up, he found it was an egg, which was still warm. The round egg is only one-third of the size of the normal ones.

The villager said the cock hasn't changed in any noticeable way since it made the unexpected delivery.
