Heavy iron gates stolen in residential area
Audacious thieves made off with a pair of heavy iron gates weighing hundreds of kilograms last week from a residential area in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, reports Yangtze Evening News. According to a resident surnamed Wang, security in the area is terrible: the guard room beside the gates has been rented out and is used as a small general store; things are often stolen from homes; and some sections do not even have street lamps. |
