Cooking gas kills family of three at home
A family of three were killed by carbon-monoxide poisoning caused by cooking gas on Tuesday in Jinan, Shandong Province, Xinhua News Agency reports. The couple, both in their 50s, and their 23-year-old son had been dead seven hours when they were found in their home with the windows closed, said doctors. Police said the deaths most likely happened because they fell asleep while cooking, as a burnt-out vessel used to steam bread was found in the house. |
