CBA All-Star beats KBL All-Star 104-85

The CBA All Star team beat the KBL All Star 104-85 at the second phase of a two-round matchup between the best players of the Chinese and the South Korean domestic basketball leagues on Tuesday.

The CBA, standing for the Chinese Basketball Association, lost the first round of the All Star games 96-86 Sunday to the KBL, the Korean Basketball League, at Seoul, South Korea.

Anthony Miles played just half of the game and scored 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the CBA. Guards Zhu Fangyu and LiuWei contributed 18 and 17 points respectively while Yi Jianlian having 17 points and six rebounds.

Forward Charles Minlend had 23 points and 12 rebounds before fouled out midway in the fourth quarter for the KBL All Star.Korean sharp shooter Moon Kyund Eun buried six 3-pointers to collect 21 points.

The CBA team led for the most of the game to even the series 1-1.The 2005 version of the CBA-KBL All Star was also leveled at 1-1.

Guard Shin Ki Sung's 3-pointer with 2:36 minutes left in the first half gave the Koreans the only lead at 34-33.

Moon had four consecutive 3-pointers at the start of the second half to close the gap to 51-50.

Substitute forward Miles had solid game on both ends of the court to keep the CBA team in the game.

The KBL All Star had two fouled out and one injured in 20 seconds towards the end of the fourth quarter before the CBA team stamped its dominance inside the painted area to claim the victory.
