January 20, 2006. Hundreds of passengers took off on charter flights
across the Taiwan Straits for this year's Spring Festival on Friday. The
plane belonging to Taiwan-based China Airlines left Taipei shortly after 8
a.m. and landed in Shanghai at 10:34 a.m. It returns to Taipei in the
afternoon, bringing Taiwanese home for the biggest holiday in the
