She moved to Australia with her family in 1994.
When the family left Australia, Damir implied that the Australian Open draw
that year was rigged against Jelena. Damir has also been kicked out of the U.S.
Open, Wimbledon and other tournaments for volatile outbursts.

BROTHERLY HELP: — Michaella Krajicek is making good use of her family
connection with a former Wimbledon champion.
Krajicek said Thursday she often calls on half-brother and 1996 Wimbledon
champion Richard Krajicek for advice, and she's hoping he'll do some traveling
with her on the women's tour this year.
Krajicek beat India's Sania Mirza 6-3, 7-5 on Thursday to move into the third
round of the Australian Open — her best performance in three Grand Slam
appearances.
She said the former Wimbledon winner provided tips on how to play No.
32-seeded Mirza. The pair either speak or e-mail regularly when she's at
tournaments.
"He's given me tips on serving, on my game," the 17-year-old right-hander
said. "He gave me some tips on Sania as he knows her.
"Hopefully, he's going to travel to some tournaments with me this year."
Krajicek arrived in Melbourne after winning a tuneup tournament in Hobart
last week. She also teamed with Peter Wessels to lead the Netherlands to the
Hopman Cup final in Perth in early January.
"It's been a great start to the year," she said.
