New Horizons spacecraft to explore Pluto

The Atlas V rocket with the New Horizons
spacecraft sits on the launch pad at complex 41 in Cape Canaveral, Florida
on January 16, 2006. The rocket is scheduled to launch on January 17, 2006
and will send the New Horizons spacecraft on its mission to perform
scientific studies of Pluto and its moon Charon.
