Expressway accident kills 17

A police officer inspects a bus deformed
and damaged in a traffic accident which killed at least 17 people on
the Beijing-Shijiazhuang expressway in Wangdu county, north China's
Hebei province late in the evening on December 19, 2005. The tragedy
occurred on the section of expressway linking Beijing to
Shijiazhuang, capital of Hebei, when two trucks collided and then crashed
into the bus after smashing the expressway partition and running into the
opposite traffic. Thirteen passengers aboard the bus and four in the
