"Zhou Enlai" actor Su Lin dies at 68

According to the Beijing Times, Su Lin, who played former Chinese Premier Zhou Enlai in major docudramas, died at 68 Thursday in Guangxi.

Su was the former director of the Guangxi drama troupe and had been successfully cast as Premier Zhou since 1978. During the past decades, Su played Zhou in more than 10 movies and 30 television dramas. At least six of his movies were awarded the title of nationally excellent films. ��

Su had refused to appear in advertisements in Zhou��s image after he shot to fame for his acting. ��I will never do things that could damage Premier Zhou��s image,�� he said. ����
