Nash and Wallace get NBA weekly honors

Steve Nash of the Phoenix Suns and Charlotte's Gerald Wallace of the Charlotte Bobcats were named the NBA's players of the week Monday.

Nash averaged 9.7 assists and 21.7 points during the week earn the Western Conference Player of the Week honors and lead his team to a 3-0 record over that span.

Wallace was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week after averaging 22.3 points and 9.3 rebounds in three games for the Bobcats.
