Slumping Rockets Lose to Grizzlies

The slumping Houston Rockets, still playing without Tracy McGrady, was upset once more in a 86-81 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.

Derek Anderson scored a game-high16 points for the Rockets, and Yao Ming added 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Shane Battier led the Grizzlies with 20 points, and Eddie Jones had 17.

Houston is 2-6 on the road this season. It has lost three straight games away from home.

The Rockets return to the Toyota Center for a four-game homestand. They are scheduled to host Chicago, Atlanta, Memphis and Boston on the stand.
