The Raptors fell to 0-8, the worst start in their franchise-history, leaving coach Sam Mitchell frustrated after the game.

"It's been a tough eight games, but that's just the way it goes sometimes," Mitchell said.

"We beat this team six of the last eight quarters. I was happy with the guys that played tonight, but we just keep coming up a little short."

Mitchell demonstrated his frustration during the second half when during a timeout, he smashed his clipboard on the scorers table, breaking it.

As they did Tuesday, the Raptors fell behind early, trailing 40-28 after one quarter after trailing 39-20 after the opening quarter Tuesday.

Toronto did fight back and kept the game close in the second half, shooting 54 percent from the field. But as they have all season, the Raptors again came up just short to slip to 0-6 at home.

Iverson was 16-for-26 from the field and played 44 minutes, as did Iguodala. Chris Webber chipped in with 21 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for Philadelphia, which shot 44 percent.

"With Allen Iverson, you just have to pay attention to him every minute," Mitchell said. "He's going to beat you in so many ways."

Mike James had a career-high 38 points and nine assists for the Raptors, while Chris Bosh added 23 points and 10 rebounds.
