Hu leaves Beijing for 4-country visit

Chinese President Hu Jintao left Beijing Tuesday morning for a state visit to Britain, Germany, Spain and the Republic of Korea (ROK).

Hu was invited by Queen Elizabeth II of Britain, German President Horst Koehler, Spanish King Juan Calos I and ROK President Roh Moo-hyun.

After the visit, President Hu will attend the 13th APEC Economic Leaders Meeting to be held in Pusan of the ROK from November 18 to 19.

Hu's entourage includes Hu's wife Liu Yongqing, State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan, Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing, Minister in charge of the State Development and Reform Commission Ma Kai and Commerce Minister Bo Xilai.
