Elizabeth Taylor wants final rest near Burton

Hollywood legend Elizabeth Taylor has requested that her ashes be scattered in her former husband Richard Burton's home country of Wales.

She says she wants to feel close to him even though the actor is buried in Switzerland, according to contactmusic.com. Taylor is seriously ill following a surgery and has decided to reconsider her last wishes.

She has also named the grounds of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama as her final resting place. Taylor and Burton were married twice for a total of 11 years. They had planned to be buried together but Burton's widow has refused the wish.

Burton's brother Graham Jenkins says, "Elizabeth said she wanted her remains brought back to Wales after seeing photos of the college. She asked if she could have them placed close to Richard's theatre."
