Palestinians: Arafat's death still mystery
(AP)
Updated: 2005-10-12 19:16

The official investigation into the death of Yasser Arafat turned up inconclusive, Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qureia said Wednesday.

Qureia said a special committee formed to investigate the death of the longtime Palestinian leader would issue a report later Wednesday.

"What they concluded is that medics could not find a reason for the death," he said, adding that the file would remain open for further investigation.

Arafat died in a French hospital on Nov. 11, 2004, after a two-week illness.
