| At 9:00 a.m, the center of the low
pressure was in Fujian's Shanghang county, and it was moving towards Jiangxi
Province at 15km per hour, according to the Central Meteorological Station.
Due to the joint influence of the low pressure and the cold front from the
north, the coastal regions of the East China Sea, the Taiwan Strait and part of
the coastal areas of the South China Sea will be swept by strong winds ranging
from fresh breeze to moderate gale from Monday noon to Tuesday.
Meanwhile, these areas will also be hit by torrential rains and rainstorms,
the station said.
Longwang, or Dragon King, forced 376,000 people in Fujian to leave home for
safe places by 6:00 p.m. Sunday.
