Chinese vice premier meets senior Pakistani army officier

Chinese Vice Premier Huang Ju met with Ehsan-ul-Haq, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Armed Forces of Pakistan, here Wednesday.

Huang said Sino-Pakistan relations have seen new progress in the new century, which was marked by the signing of the China-Pakistan neighborly, friendly and cooperative treaty this year.

China will continue to promote bilateral exchanges and cooperation and jointly boost the economic and social development of the two countries, he said.

Ehsan-ul-Haq was invited by the Chinese Ministry of National Defense.
