Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu stadium was converted into a star-studded cinema on Thursday as hunky David Beckham stepped onto a sporty green carpet for the premiere of a new movie about football squad Real Madrid.

Around 4,000 enthusiastic fans were invited to the special screening of Real, The Film, which was also attended by Becks' fellow British-born teammates Michael Owen and Jonathan Woodgate, as well as international football stars Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane.

It was Victoria Beckham's handsome husband, however, who arguably made the most spectacular entrance at the glitzy debut. Dressed head-to-toe in black and sporting a Mediterranean tan, David arrived alongside Real heart-throb Raul, who was looking casually chic in a white shirt and jeans.

The movie, a mixture of fiction and fly-on-the-wall reality, features cameos by the current team as it tells five true stories which illuminate the history of and passion for the club.
