I want to spare energy for final, says Liu Xiang
HELSINKI, August 10 (Xinhua) -- Olympic champion Liu Xiang said he has spared energy for Friday's final after sailing into the semifinals at the men's 110m hurdles at the 10th world championships here on Wednesday.
"Actually, I don't care the time," he said. "It's the first round. the time is not important as long as it can send me to the next round." Liu, who won the bronze in the Paris worlds two years ago, said he took the first round as a warm-up for Friday's final. "I want to spare more energy for the final," he said.
