Giant Panda gives birth to twin cubs

One of giant panda Xue Xue's twin cubs is under close observation in a wildlife rescue centre in Zhouzhi county in northwest China's Shaanxi province August 9, 2005. The 18-year-old Xue Xue gave birth to twin cubs on Saturday. Both mother and the cubs seemed to be doing well, according to the centre. [newsphoto]
