China beat Chinese Taipei 3-0 at the the play-off stage of the women's under-18 world volleyball championship on Wednesday.

Other play-off match results are listed below:

Elimination group: Argentina defeated Belarus 3-1, Italy upset Ukraine 3-1, Russia rocked Egypt 3-0.

Seeding group: the United States routed Croatia 3-0, Brazil smashed South Korea 3-0.

The four winners of the elimination group and all the four teams of the seeding group entered the quarter-finals, which will kick off on Friday after a one-day break.

The draws are listed below: Brazil v.s. Argentina, Italy v.s. Ukraine, South Korea v.s. Russia and China v.s. the United States.
