Dalian go eight points clear in CSL

Dalian Shide swept Sichuan Guancheng 4-0 to stay eight points clear of Wuhan Huanghelou at the top of the Chinese Super League.

Visiting Dalian dominated the match from the beginning, with midfielder Quan Lei opening the scoring in the 23rd minute.

The visitors stretched their advantage to 3-0 with goals from Serbian Miodrag Pantelic early in the second half.

Bulgarian striker Zoran Jankovic added another in the 88th minute to seal the victory for Dalian.

Dalian have won 11 matches out of 14 to top the league table with 35 points.

In another league match on Sunday, International Shanghai posted a 2-0 home victory over Shangdong Luneng.
