SYDNEY, July 16 (Reuters) - Argentina's David Nalbandian won his delayed match against Australia's Wayne Arthurs 6-3 7-6 5-7 6-2 on Saturday to level their Davis Cup quarter-final at 1-1.

Nalbandian needed just 28 minutes to seal victory after the match was suspended overnight at the end of the third set because of inclement weather.

The fourth set was all one-way traffic with Nalbandian twice breaking Arthurs serve to easily win the set and the match.

The result left the tie locked at 1-1 after Australia's Lleyton Hewitt beat Guillermo Coria 7-6 6-1 1-6 6-2 in Friday's first singles rubber.

Hewitt and Arthurs were due to team up in Saturday's doubles match against Nalbandian and Mariano Puerta before Hewitt faces Nalbandian and Arthurs meets Coria in Sunday's reverse singles.

The winner of the best-of-five tie will play either Slovakia or the Netherlands in the semi-finals.
