Chelsea boss says Arsenal favoured in fixtures

Jose Mourinho has blasted the Premier League after Chelsea were scheduled to play away from home after each of their first five European trips.

Mourinho has implied favouritism by pointing out that rivals Arsenal have five home fixtures on the corresponding weekends.

"It is always Chelsea who get the worst games, the worst fixtures to play, while Arsenal always have the best ones," he told The People.

Mourinho has also once again vented his fury at the Football Association for the scheduling of their FA Cup fifth-round match away to Newcastle last season - a game they lost 1-0.

"That game didn't come at the right moment because we had to play Newcastle on Sunday and then Barcelona two days later.

"Nobody anywhere else in Europe would believe this," he added.
