meet, which ends in Carson on Sunday, include 200m world champion John Capel,
400m hurdles standout Bershawn Jackson and Leonard Scott, training partner of
Maurice Greene in the 100m.
Greene will decide on his participation depending on the results of the 100m
in the US championships, which also serve as the US trials for this year's World
Championships in Helsinki.
Organizers also confirmed a couple of notable absences in Paris - world and
Olympic 400m hurdles champion Felix Sanchez of the Dominican Republic and new
100m world-record holder Asafa Powell of Jamaica.
Both are also expected to miss the July 5 Super Grand Prix meeting at
Lausanne.
