by the club to celebrate the title win, Eto'o, microphone in hand, strongly
insulted their arch rivals six times to 100,000 fans at the Nou Camp stadium.
Eto'o, who could have been fined 30,000 euros, has 10 days to appeal the
decision.
The Spanish league's leading scorer with 25, he was once a fringe player at
Real Madrid before making his name with Real Mallorca, whom he left for the

He later apologised to Real and the club's supporters. He said he had been
caught up in a "moment of sheer joy" and that "I never intended to show Real
Madrid disrespect. There was no ill intention."
