The former Barcelona star admitted he was "jealous" of Real Madrid general manager Arrigo Sacchi and coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo.

"It would delight me to have the chance and the experience that Luxemburgo and Sacchi have had. Real Madrid is a great club and anyone would be happy to work for this club. But for me, that is probably not going to happen," said Maradona.

The Argentine legend added: "I believe Barcelona has been the rightful winner of the Liga this season. But it is important to say that Real Madrid has done good work since Luxemburgo arrived.

"I hope that he can continue next season and enjoy the same support that Rijkaard has had from Barcelona."
