Sporting Lisbon suffer blow

Sporting striker Mauricio Pinilla will miss Wednesday's UEFA Cup final against CSKA Moscow after suferring a knee injury, the club's doctor said on Tuesday.

The Chilean international, who scored a spectacular long-range goal in the semi-final against AZ Alkmaar, sprained his left knee in training and was carried off by club doctors.
