Wall collapse kills one, injures 10 students

A wall at a high school in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, fell last Friday, causing the death of a student and injuries to other 10, the Chinese Business News reports.

The wall, inside a toilet in the high school, collapsed as nearly 100 boys were just dismissed from an examination and rushed to use the facility.

There are four toilets on campus at the Xiangqiao High School in Lintong District of Xi'an. The collapsed toilet usually can hold 50 to 60 students.

The school and local educational administration are investigating the accident.
