A female lemur eats with her one-month-old baby riding along at the Buenos Aires Zoo, March 23, 2005. A lemur is a primate related to simians, which is more arboreal, meaning they spend more of their time in trees and bushes. Although lemurs are no longer being hunted as much as in the past, their survival is threatened because their natural forest habitats are being cut down for lumber and to clear lands for farming.
