Robben was not spotted in the Blues' training sessions on Monday, a day ahead of the round of 16 second leg at Stamford Bridge into which Spanish league leaders Barcelona take a 2-1 lead.

"I can tell you now that he won't either be on the bench or featuring in the first team," Mourinho said.

Robben, so often at the heart of Chelsea's cutting edge in attack, has been out since breaking two bones in his left foot on February 2 and had the chance of featuring if he felt able to participate for some of the match.

The Portuguese boss named his side, plus his prediction of the Barcelona team, in advance of the first leg at the Nou Camp but declined to repeat such an announcement this time.

However, he did say that Scott Parker would feature on the bench.

"I'm not going to give my team for tomorrow," Mourinho said, before revealing the England international midfielder would be among the substitutes.

"Scott Parker has a chance. We have only 18 players so Parker will be on the bench."
