Chinese to bid for British super luxury house
A super luxury house priced in excess of 70 million pounds (about 1.106 billion yuan) would go on sale in UK this week. It was said that buyers from China, Russia, the Mid-East and Australia all intend to be the owner of this most expensive house in UK. This luxury house named "uptown court" covers an area of 58 acres and consists of four main buildings, which is being heralded as the grandest 21st century home in Britain. The "uptown court" has sweeping grounds larger in area than Buckingham Palace and Hampton Court. It is located in a district, full of billionaires' property, called the "golden triangle". Brian May, guitarist of the Queen, a famous British band and an Arabian petroleum giant also live in this district. Although a luxury residence in London's Kensington Palace Gardens was put for sale with a price tag of 85 million pounds last year, British estate agents pointed out that so far the highest price for a property sold was only 70 million pounds. Therefore, the "uptown court" is likely to break the all-time British record. According to the developer of this residence, the buyers would be billionaires instead of millionaires.
