American Jeret Peterson and Chinese Guo Xinxin won their respective men's and women's titles at the 2005 Freestyle FIS World Cup aerials in Shenyang, China's northern Heilongjiang province on Saturday.

Peterson and Chinese Li Nina led their overall World Cup standings with 534 and 645 points respectively after eight events, with five more remaining.

In the men's final, half of the 12 competitors committed errors in their difficult routines, which helped Chinese Han Xiaopeng to finish third on the Baiqingzai Course with 232.40 points.

Peterson received 247.63 points at the event and Canadian Steve Omischl took second place with 242.52.

Guo Xinxin became the lone women jumpers to execute two successive jumps with three turns. She received 192.99 points to top the women.

Her countrywoman Li Nina took second place with 187.61, edging out Lydia Ierodiaconou of Australia, who was third with 187.25.

However, Li still leads the standings with 645 points, closely followed Ierodiaconou on 625 and ahead of Guo on 329.
