Senior CPC leader pushes fighting corruption
China will spare no effort to fight corruption while preventing corruption from the very start by removing the soil favorable to corruption, said Senior Chinese leader Wu Guanzheng Wednesday. China is trying to improve education on officials, build a better government framework against corruption and tighten supervision, said Wu, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), when addressing the Party School of CPC Central Committee Wednesday. The Party leadership has paid great attention to cracking down upon corruption, said Wu, also secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection. "One of the key efforts is to improve moral building of Party and government officials while the country is working on the implementation of laws and reform of political framework in a bid to effectively restrict power," he said. Wu said he believes the country will minimize corruption, as the Party is "fully aware" of the importance of anti-corruption and has adopted powerful measures. |
