Andrea Bocelli to sing in Beijing in October

金秋10月,意大利男高音Andrea Bocelli将赴京演出。自小失明的Andrea Bocelli被称为世界男高音接班人,他是少数能同时俘获古典乐迷和流行乐迷的音乐家之一。  

Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli will sing in Beijing in October, according to China Radio International Friday.

Dubbed the "the fourth tenor" Bocelli is best know for his hit "Con te partiro", which he also performed as a duet with Sarah Brightman and the London Symphony Orchestra.

Bocelli was born with an inherited form of glaucoma, which got worse as he aged.

When he was twelve years old, he was hit with a soccer ball and went completely blind.
