An exhibition of memorabilia from the Titanic has docked in Shanghai and will last about two months.

The exhibition boasts nearly 300 items recovered from the wreckage of the famous ship.

The items will be on display for the next two months; the first time they've visited Asia.

Organizers have successfully re-created the fateful night, with an ice wall, a replica of the ship's grand staircase, a first-class suite and a third-class cabin.

Visitors can step back to another time by viewing the porcelain, the jewelry, and the menu from which many of the passengers selected their final supper.

In addition, the organizers have a sound and light show to recreate the Titanic experience.

The exhibition also displays props, costumes and furniture from the blockbuster movie Titanic.
