Center Yao Ming scored 23 points in leading China's Olympic team over Sweden 87-63 in an exhibition game on Sunday in Lithuania.

Fredrik Jonzen led Sweden with 13 points. Fred Drains added nine points in his first game for Sweden, which did not qualify for the Olympics.

"We cut the deficit when Yao Ming went to the bench, when he came back they took the lead again," Sweden coach Jan Enjebo said.

The Athens Olympics begin Friday.
