The Chinese under-19 football team have beaten Brazil by one goal to nil to come third in the Toulon Soccer Tournament in France.

China's up-and-coming sharpshooter Mao Jianqing found the back of the net in the second half, sealing a great victory for his country.

The victory and China's third place finish is the country's best record in its last six appearances in the Toulon Cup.

Meanwhile, France beat Sweden - who had knocked China out of the semi-final - also by one nil, to take the championship.
