The Grizzlies will reveal their new uniforms sporting this new logo on June 17.

"We are proud to show our fans the first stage of a new era of Grizzlies basketball by launching our new primary logo," Grizzlies President Jerry West said. "The new logo is a simple, timeless design that will symbolize winning, tradition and the future of Grizzlies basketball. I love our new logo."

West said the players were involved in designing the logo and the team's new uniforms.

"They were very instrumental in describing what they wanted the look and the colors to represent," he said.

The Grizzlies went 50-32 during the regular season, earning their first playoff berth. They were swept in the first round by San Antonio.

West was named NBA Executive of the Year by the Sporting News last week.

Head coach Hubie Brown was named the NBA's Coach of the Year.
