The first batch of relief supplies from China arrived in Sinuiju, a Korean border city Sunday afternoon. The goods, carried by a convoy of 11 trucks, will be handed over to the DPRK during a ceremony. The Chinese government offered on Saturday to provide 10 million yuan (US$1.2 million) in supplies. The massive explosion in Ryongchon has killed at least 161 people. [Xinhua]
